Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal Will Donate 75% Of His Wealth After The Death Of His Son.

Billionaire industrialist and Vedanta Group Chairman Anil Agarwal son Agnivesh(49) passed away after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest while recovering from a skiing accident at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York . Now Anil Agrawal announced that he will donate more than 75 per cent of his wealth to society after the sudden death of his son, Agnivesh, in the United States.

Anil Agarwal wrote that he had made this promise to his son, Agnivesh. He said that a large portion of what he has earned will be given back to society. After his son’s passing, he has strengthened this resolve and said that the rest of his life will be dedicated to this purpose.

Anil Agarwal wrote that he and his son shared the same dream: to make India self-reliant. Their vision was for no child to go hungry, every child to receive an education, women to be empowered, and young people to have jobs. He said that life is incomplete without his son, but his son’s dreams will not remain unfulfilled.

According to Forbes, Anil Agarwal and his family have a net worth of $4.2 billion, which is approximately 35,000 crore Indian rupees. He had already announced before his son’s death that 75 percent of this wealth would be given to society. However, after being overwhelmed by grief over his son’s passing, he has reiterated this commitment with even greater emphasis.
