India beat South Africa by 233 runs on third youth ODI

India defeated South Africa by 233 runs in the third Youth ODI match. With this victory, the Indian Under-19 team completed a 3-0 clean sweep of the three-match ODI series against South Africa. In the third ODI, Team India, batting first, posted a massive score of 393 runs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Arshin Kulkarni scored centuries for India. Chasing the daunting target, the entire South African team was bowled out for 160 runs.

In this match, South Africa won the toss and invited Team India to bat first. Indian openers Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Arshin Kulkarni put on a brilliant batting display, forging a 227-run opening partnership.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi completed his century in just 63 balls. This was Vaibhav’s second century in his List A career. He scored 127 runs off 74 balls in this match, hitting 9 fours and 10 sixes. Arshin Kulkarni also contributed with a knock of 118 runs off 106 balls. The opening partnership between Suryavanshi and Kulkarni yielded 227 runs. India lost their first wicket in the 25.4th over, by which time they had already scored 227 runs. In the next 148 balls, Team India added another 166 runs.

For India, Kishan Kumar Singh was the most successful bowler, taking 3 wickets in just 4 overs. Mohammed Enan also picked up 2 wickets. Vaibhav Suryavanshi also tried his hand at bowling, taking one wicket for 10 runs in 2 overs.

The Indian Under-19 team has won this Youth ODI series 3-0. In the first ODI, the Indian team won by 25 runs using the DLS method. In the second ODI, Team India chased down the target of 246 runs in the 24th over. Now, India has won the third ODI by 233 runs.
