Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar has created a massive impact at the worldwide box office, earning ₹1262 crore in just 40 days. Along with Ranveer, the film featured Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt, but it was Akshaye Khanna who received the maximum praise for his powerful performance as Rahman Daku.
It has been reported that Akshaye Khanna will be a part of Dhurandhar 2. While it’s true that his character dies in the first part, the backstory of Rahman Daku is said to be explored in the sequel.
It is said that Akshaye will return to the sets for a week, but this has not been confirmed. Dhurandhar 2 is supposed to be released in theaters on the 19th of March. However, it will face tough competition at the box office as Yash’s highly anticipated film, Toxic, will also be released on the same date.
